JAMAICAN STYLE CLAM CHOWDER
YA MAMA CLAM CHOWDER
A chowder is a thick hearty soup,usually prepared with seafood.The soup originated in coastal France where fisher man and there families would prepare huge stew a large catch,these stew were prepared in cauldrons hence the name chowder.
Basic chowder ingredients may includes spice like thyme, pork bacon,onion,milk, tomato, the traditional chowder is the famous of which is the clam with vegetables, combines,.
3 slice bacon chopped, 2 oz onion chopped, 6 oz potato cooked, 10 oz clam, black pepper, 2 oz celery, 32 oz milk, butter, 1 table spoon flour., 1 table spoon butter, pinch of low sodium accent.
Fry bacon,and onion, until onion is tender, but not brown. prepare soup with milk, combine soup, clam, onion, bacon, and celery, in a sauce pot, simmer for 20 minutes,add, potato, and simmer 10 minutes longer, combine flour and butter.and stir into, chowder,stir until it is thicken, simmer for 10 minutes.
